PEACE
I am taking the opportunity during the challenge of photographing my hand to use the pictures as sources for my drawing. This year I have decided to become more active in the illustration forum at Worth and teach myself more about digital illustration. So on these straight forward shots I will also be doing a digital sketch using the photo as a reference. Don't worry Morporkian and Whalelight the "eyes" are coming!
I love the lighting! Very well done. I can't wait to see whats next.
ReplyDeleteNice shot - the lighting is lovely and even and the illustration is very impressive indeed.
ReplyDeleteYour hands seem to have so many stories to tell! Looking forward to a month with them sharing their history.
ReplyDeleteCool shot, I love the fact you are accompanying some of them with your illustration of the photo.
ReplyDeleteThat is a nice clean picture, great drawing as well.
ReplyDeleteCan't wat to see what is next.
Those aren't accountants hands, for sure :D Looking forward for some great shots of these
ReplyDeleteI agree -- the lighting is great! I'm intrigued by your subject, and looking forward to see what else those hands do. I especially like your drawings.
ReplyDeleteThe drawing is a great representation of the picture... you are doing a good job here

Awesome theme - I love the accompanying illo's!!
ReplyDeleteVery iconic pose and I love to see your drawings.
ReplyDeleteNice job on the drawing!
ReplyDeleteGreat work. Excellent lighting and the illustration is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you can draw something so good, all within the same day! You're not doing traceovers, are you? I would still respect you if you were, but I am just so dumbfounded if you could draw like that, so fast, and do the photos too. All in one day!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, this shows a hand that has worked hard (painted hard?) and the two-finger peace sign on day 2 is great!
Very nice photo, and quite a cool pose as well. I like your drawings as well, even more of a challenge. The lighting from the side is nice too, but I think I would have liked a square crop on this.
